I can't get Interactive Music Room to work on Windows 8
Easitech needs to be told to run in "Compatability Mode".
You will find instructions on how to do this here.
THE PROGRAM RUNS SLOWLY
Are you running IMR from the CD?. If you are, copy IMR to your hard drive and run it from there.
I AM ASKED FOR A SERIAL NUMBER WHEN LOADING EASITEACH SOFTWARE
The Interactive Music Room package does not require a serial number
to load the Easiteach software onto individual computers.
However, if you are trying to load the software onto the school server,
you may be asked for a serial number.
Please contact us if you wish to purchase a site licence.
Everything was working fine this morning – but this afternoon there were wrong sounds and/or images
behaving strangely (disappearing on touch, not dragging etc)
Shut your computer down and restart it. This ‘rest’ should resolve the problem. If you intend to use Easiteach® all day, shut your computer down and restart it in the middle of the day.
There is an instructional DVD included with the package which has Cheryl
demonstrating the various functions available for you to use - and how to use them.
The videos on this DVD are also available for you to watch on-line.
You can see them here.
There is an error in the teachers book for 'The Interactive Music Room book 1'.
On p 41, the BLM is incorrect - it refers to tempo and should refer to dynamics.
You can download the correct copy of the BLM
I can't get Interactive Music Room to work on Mac OSX Lion, Mountain Lion or Mavericks
Easitech is no longer supported for newer versions of OS X. However, if Easiteach has been working for you on an older version of OSX and you have updated your Mac or setup a new Mac from Time Machine, it should continue to work. New installations on the newer versions of OS X no longer work.
We have just got or are about to get new Macs. What should I do?
Make sure that you initialise your new Mac using the Time Machine backup from your old one.
This way you should be able to continue using Interactive Music Room.
Easiteach, and so iMR, will not work if freshly installed onto current versions of OS X.
