Q. Can I use Recorder Room on my PC? on my Mac? on my iPad? on my Android tablet?
A. Recorder Room is currently available on IPad or Mac running OSX 10.9 (Mavericks) or 10.10 (Mavericks) with iBooks installed. Work is continuing to have it available on Android tablets and PC – however we have no release date as yet.

Q. How long can I keep Recorder Room for?
A. It’s different for teacher and student editions.
Recorder Room Teacher edition is yours to keep. You will be able to update your copy to new editions and additional or updated material may be provided from time to time.
Recorder Room Student edition is available for your students to buy. The student edition is intended for the sole use of an individual student. We guarantee that the student edition will remain current and sync with the teacher edition for at least 12 months from purchase.
Q. What is the difference between the Teacher version and the Student version?
A. The Student version is like the old fashioned student workbook.
The Teacher version contains the course and everything needed to present it. It lays out the full set of sequenced lessons with full teacher instructions and all audio, video, scores, rhythms and song lyrics used in the course. Audio and video can be played directly off the tablet or computer and presented to the class as part of the lesson.
The Student edition contains audio, video, scores, rhythms and song lyrics that can be used for practice inside or outside the classroom (and at home) depending on your teaching styles and policies.
Q. Do I need an internet connection?
A. You will need an internet connection to purchase and download the Recorder Room iBook, but once it’s downloaded, you can use Recorder Room off-line!
Q. Who purchases Recorder Room Student Edition, teacher or student?
A. That’s up to you
We recommend that your students purchase Recorder Room for their own use on their own iPads (and/or MacBooks).
If you use “class sets” of iPads (or MacBooks), use your standard app purchasing procedures from the Apple iTunes Store.
Q. Can I use Recorder Room on more than one device.
A. Yes
Your copy is avaialble across all Apple devices (iPad, Mac, iPhone, iPod) that are registered with your Apple ID.
