Changes to eMusic Room and Music Room Slideshow

It is very clear that reliability when in front of your class presenting a lesson is the number 1 issue and so we have decided to address this for you.

 

eMusic Room or Music Room Slideshow have until recently been available on subscription through an eReader website. As many of you may be aware, we have had reliability issues, especially with slower internet connections and/or where available computer memory was an issue.

The most reliable eReaders available are Apple Books and Adobe Digital Editions. Apple Books is already available free on all Apple devices; Adobe Digital Editions is a free download from Adobe.

 

We are also aware that the idea of subscriptions can be problematic handling school budgets. Subscriptions may be a cheaper solution in the short term but involve an administrative overhead in the longer term.

 

With these things in mind, we have decided to go back to the outright purchase model …

  • You buy eMusic Room or Music Room Slideshow and it’s yours (or your school’s) to keep.

  • You can read/display eMusic Room and/or Music Room Slideshow on reliable Apple Books or Adobe Digital Editions.

 

But what if I am on a subscription now?

Subscription first-year pricing was generally set at half the full purchase price of a title. When it comes time to renew your subscription, you will receive a 50% discount on the purchase price. From then, the title is yours (or your school’s) to keep without a subscription.

Music Room AV

 

We are also streamlining the use of audio and video with our Music Room series.

The core of our Music Room program has always been our print edition teacher book. Each level has a full year’s set of lesson plans prepared and laid out for you.

The accompanying audio and video resources have been available in a variety of ways and as technology has changed, we have as well.

 

eMusic Room has been available in eBook form for a while now. The pages look exactly like the printed book but with all audio and video embedded in the text, along with links to the charts, exactly where you need them.

Music Room Slideshow is a newer addition to the Music Room family. All the lesson presentation is done for you in a “powerpoint” style with all audio and visual content as well as song lyric videos right there in the slides where you need them. Slideshows are a supplement to Music Room and eMusic Room which have the lesson plans. Levels 1-3 are available now with levels 4-6 available soon.

 

Can I upgrade my old CDs/DVDs or USBs?

 

You can upgrade by purchasing eMusic Room and/or Music Room Slideshow at our especially discounted AV upgrade price. You need to have already purchased a copy of Music Room print edition to be eligible for this upgrade. Contact us with your original order details including order number (found in ‘my account/my orders’ on our website), name, email address for registration and school name.

 

How is Music Room available now?

·  eMusic Room – the teacher book as an eBook with embedded AV one product which includes it all.

·  Music Room print edition + eMusic Room – Teacher Printed and eBooks twinning together.

·  Music Room teacher book print edition + Music Room Slideshow. The print book for you to follow, the Slideshow to engage the students.

·  eMusic Room teacher book + Music Room Slideshow. Paperless, good for the environment.
